2 Corinthians 7:2-16

2 Corinthians 7:2-16

So what did you think when you first read the subject line of the email? Maybe you wondered who was in trouble… or even if you were in trouble!

Well, let the conviction of the Lord land where it needs to, but the email is about Sunday’s sermon. I’m planning to preach from 2 Corinthians 7:2-16. I’ve titled this sermon (which I don’t usually do, by the way) “Principles Concerning Church Discipline”. Sunday’s passage doesn’t present an exhaustive list. It does, however, give us some very good insight!

I’d encourage you to read through this short passage and see what valuable gems you can mine concerning church discipline – the confrontation of a person, by another believer or group of believers, concerning an unbiblical action or behavior that the first person is exhibiting.
