I am planning to preach on 2 Corinthians 5:11-15 this Sunday. Here are a couple of key thoughts for you…
It seems to me that this passage is a part of a larger “theme” found in 2 Cor 5:10 – 2 Cor 6:2. It would be helpful to read the whole section.
v11 – For what reason does Paul persuade others?
v13 – Paul was basically saying they are sometimes “crazy for God”. What are some examples of being “crazy for God”, as in, when people think what someone did is “crazy”, but is really motivated by the Lord?
v14-15 – Analyze… who do you live for? Or, if you’re like me, I can have a tendency to “live for” Jesus more in some areas than others. Would you be willing to begin identifying those areas?
